  • "How Long Does It Take To Set Up a Table?"
Depending on the size of the grazing table, it can take up to 2.5 hours.
  • "How Long Does The Food Last?"
On average, food should be consumed within a 4 hour period. However, temperatures exceeding 8 degrees can decrease this period to up to 2 hours. If temperatures around the grazing table can be made cooler, this will be advised to help your grazing table last longer! A standard booking is for 2 hours, replenishments are available for the Ultimate Grazing Tables or Weddings only.
  • "What Areas Do You Cater For?"

We accept a minimum of 1 weeks' notice for any package. The weeks' notice will include the deposit being paid, any later, your booking is not confirmed. Please give as much notice as possible, this will allow Platters & Boards to work with you to create the perfect set up and personalised menu for your day.
  • "Do You Clear Up After An Event?"

  • "Do You Do Other Events?"
We can do every event imaginable! From Baby Showers, Birthdays, Stag Dos to Weddings and Funerals. A Grazing table is perfect for any event. It is one of the most cost efficient ways to feed a large group of people without the hassle of physically catering to them. Everyone loves a table and the journey they're taken on when picking their own foods.
  • "When Do You Expect Final Payment?"
We advise to make payment ASAP but the absolute final payment should be paid no later than 2 months before your Event. Failing to do so, can effect whether your booking will be continued and your deposit being returned. This is due to other events that could have been booked on the day and pre-orders that would need to be made.
  • "Do You Do Refunds For Cancelled Events?"
We only cover full refunds, where we, (Platters & Boards), are unable to attend the event. If we are able to do so, we would be open to changing to another date but will need no later than 72 hours notice. Unfortunetly, any later or an available date that cannot be arranged on both sides, the deposit and the original payment cannot be returned. This will be included in the contract and will be reiterated during the booking process. £100 is non-refundable and will also be stated in the Service Agreement and Invoice.
  • "How Much Deposit Needs To Be Paid And When Will This Be Returned?"
We require a £100 deposit to secure your Booking Date. The booking date is not secure until payment has been made, which means it is open for other bookings to be made. We can also do payment plans for bookings over £1,000 to help pay (this will vary depending on requests). Please contact us for further information.
  • "What Are Your Pricing For Each Booking?"
